Yesterday night while I was having some fresh air out at the front of my house, I saw frost on my car. This is the first time I've seen frost on my car and this is a clear indication that winter has finally arrived. Normally it hits like early November but it's a little late this year. There will be heavy fog and rain the next couple of days according to the weather soothsayers. Brace yourselves dudes and dudettes, 5 more months to go...
I think my cooking skills have improved quite a lot. Yesterday, I cooked some good 'ol Malaysian yummies :-
I don't know what came over me but I came back from town feeling hungry like a wolf...except wolves don't get to eat food this good! Typical of me - when cooking in the middle of an overwhelming sensation of malnutrition, I tend to cook an overwhelming meal too....yes, all that was for me, me and ME. By the time I sat down to eat, I was thinking how in the world am I going to finish all this? My Mom would've been proud of me. Sometimes I wish I could settle down to a simple meal out of a can or just bread and cheese but I can't! Not when I have been pampered by Mom's good cooking most of my life. Even my mates back in Malaysia beg to come over to my folk's place whenever my Mom cooks. This ability to cook could either be a good or bad thing - perhaps I'm becoming too self-sufficient. Heck, I'm thinking too much!
Oh yeah, was my birthday a couple of days ago. Thanks for the phone calls and text messages. Was nothing big...just the same shit, different day.
