Bloody Marvellous Weather!

Oh what beautiful weather! It's been SO marvellously warm all week. Only 12ºC here in Reading and I guess(for Malaysians) that sounds mighty cold. For me, it's practically tropical! It feels tropical, especially when you've just come out of below freezing temperatures. The sun decides to peek at me from behind the clouds every once in a while and I'd be sitting out in the garden....in my t-shirt and boardshorts. Not quite warm enough to string up the hammock but I'm already in my flip-flops(with socks). It's supposedly embarassing to be seen like that but to me, the ffuucckk with that! Heck, I don't care. =) It feels like summer's almost here! Seasonal countries have such volatile temperature that I believe my body is sometimes confused. The rabbits and squirrels have started making an appearance again - almost ran over a bunny on my way to work yesterday because the damn furball decided to run ALONG the road instead of running across it! Hmm...maybe the honey bunny was trying to race me?

After reflecting on this winter season so far, I've realised that we've had a pretty mild winter! We're more than halfway through winter now - even the longest night or winter solstice has passed last 21st December so the days are just going to get longer and longer! It's quite abnormal for it to be above 10ºC at this time of the year, there hasn't been any heavy snow yet, pretty much dry and windless most of the winter, only 4 or 5 frosty spells...yeah, it's been great! I reckon there's just another 2 more months to endure to be sure of seeing the last of winter so I'll just keep huddling up in the rabbit hole until that moment comes after which I should be driving many times to the coastline!!!
