Sun Baked

Location : Cherating, Malaysia.

The sun has been so hot while surfing I'm getting tanned again...too tanned. Its not like there's anything bad about being tanned but I would still like to be seen by cars at night. And surfing this time around, there are millions of sandflies in Cherating. When they bite, the bloody take a chunk of meat out of you(a wee tiny chunk) and leave a lump similiar to mosquito bites. Again, I try to look on the bright side and think that at least it's not a shark bite or a shark attack because sharks take a limb out of you. I've always said I'd hate to lose a leg to a shark because then I'd have to be a bodyboarder to continue riding waves. That sucks.

The Spanish dudes brought me a Spanish guitar all the way from Spain as a gift!!! That really caught me by surprise because my friendship is free and it was totally unexpected! I've been playing guitar for a couple of years but NEVER before owned one. I'm so touched if I was a chick, I'd shag their brains out (merely metaphorical).

Some people have been asking me where am I heading off to next. The answer is Thailand, in a couple of days. There's an island 3 hours into the Andaman Sea from the west coast of southern Thailand which is not really visited by people and therefore, untouched. Or that's what I've been told. The thing is, I was told that this island is even more beautiful than my favourite island - Perhentian Islands. The moment I heard that, I knew I've got to check out that island so I'll be making the long, ardous over-land-and-sea journey there sometime middle of this month. Stay tuned to Mindriot because if I can, I will upload pictures of the island into the Photo Album. But if you want to know the name of that island, you'd have to show me your boobies! ;)

Dude,

I've been there, remember? Might not be worth it.

Too many gwailos. Especially now.

Try these other ones (I've never been there, but neither have you):

Koh Khaolak
Koh Surin Tai
Koh Jum
Koh Kradan
Koh Bulon Lae (one of the islands near where you want to go)

This site is not bad:

referee : i was just celebrating the eternal rivalry between bodyboarders and surfers in a jovial manner. the punchline of that statement was that I'd still be riding waves even after losing a leg to a shark, NOT that surfing is better than bodyboarding because both of them suck. you'll be getting ambiguous statements like that on mindriot every once in a while, said in a JOKING manner. "That sucks" was referring to losing a leg, not bodyboarding so relax, brah. if you can't take the heat, then with all due respect, don't read! damn. because of you, now i'll have to do a disclaimer for mindriot.

tim : of course i remember you just been there one and a half months ago - i told you to go there before i left for NZ, remember? i'm already planning to see the whole chain of islands. would appreciate if you could update me on how u lost that important piece of document... thanks for the URL link!
